Bethel United Methodist Church, Gumboro, DE: Church & Cemetery I

There are three cemeteries associated with this church. The first (and presumably the oldest) is located on the southern half of the church parcel.

    Maddy--Thank you for sharing the above pictures. Do you know when the gravestone pictures were taken? The last time (2012) I visited the church, I don't remember seeing any standing gravestones. Thank you.

    Hi there, Thank you for this comment. I took these photos in July, 2010. I will be in Delaware in August and will do my best to check in on this site.

    (I'm not referring to this specific site, but in my experience headstones have a way of "disappearing" when there is potential development in an area.)
