Rehoboth Colored School, Rehoboth Beach, DE

Neighbors told me that structure is currently used as a day care and a soup kitchen.

Historic West Rehoboth, DE

I'm concerned about West Rehoboth, Delaware. I'm concerned that the recent expansion of Hebron Road has exposed this historic African American community and soon the developement will come. Free people of color established this community in the 1830s and considering how Rehoboth Beach has grown up and out in the last century, it is remarkable that it's managed to stay tucked away.

So, a note to developers:

This ground is an historic archaeological (and around here, probably pre-historic) site. All of it. Period.
