Historic Fairfax Elementary School, Fairfax City, VA

The Historic Fairfax Elementary School, built in 1873, is now the Fairfax Museum & Visitor Center.

Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery, Alexandria, VA

Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery and surrounding area.

I started working with Fort Ward & the Oakland Baptist Church community in January, 2010.

I went out to record the site and also happened to capture the storm damage from our massive February snow.

The daffodils were coming up and there were many places outside the Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery fence that they were presenting (of which I recorded on GPS.)
