Union Church or First Baptist Church of Sycolin, Sycolin, VA

Former Sycolin Road African American community.

There are many burials directly behind the church (15+). Many rough cut field stones were observed marking the depressions.

This Muse-Reed funeral home marker was for Sarah I. Jones, 1878-1959. Many grave goods were observed throughout the underbrush.

Parcel for sale directly behind church and cemetery (parcel is on a pretty steep slope):

East Street, Fairfax City, VA

I can smell the winds of change from a mile away... You are going down, abandoned dry cleaner.

Better check my files (or better yet, Fairfax City should check theirs) because I think there used to be a blacksmith shop or a tanner in this vicinity.
