The Robert Llewellyn Wright House, Bethesda, MD

What an enchanting afternoon it was and a true honor.

The home was designed in 1953 by Frank Lloyd Wright for his youngest son, Robert Llewellyn Wright. The current homeowners are Robert's son, Tom Wright and his wife, Etsuko. Tom's son, and my guide for the afternoon, is John L. Wright.

Fairfax County Courthouse Restoration

Work should be done soon and the Historical Records Room (the archives...) will be moving in to the original courthouse structure. Cannot wait!

Old Jail:

Another old jail on complex. The original frame jail from the early 1800s is no longer standing but was located in this immediate vicinity:
